Initiation to Global Finslerian Geometry

Finslerian Geometry is the most natural generalization of Riemannian Geometry. This book is an initiation to global methods, introduced by the author, for the study of the differential geometry of Finslerian manifolds. Most chapters contain author’s new, not yet published, results, and open new perspectives for future research The treatment is deliberately kept transparent, simple and precise in order to facilitate the reading of the book.
